Reserve plenty of time
Come early so that your adventure won’t be cut short come evening. Väski is open from 11 am to 6 pm.
Read the brochure
A small brochure is available from the ticket booth with a map of the Väski Adventure Game. This includes an Adventure Card on which you can mark the answers for the question you will find at each of the island’s adventure points. After returning home, you can enter your answers on the Väski website and check your result for the adventure game.
The correct clothing and gear
Make sure you have the right type of clothing and gear for the weather, as you will be outdoors the entire time. Also take your swim suit with as it’s possible to take a swim at the village beach.
The busiest time…
… Väski receives the most visitors in July. There are fewer visitors in June and August.
Väski Adventure Island was designed for school aged children and moving around the island with toddlers may be challenging. There are no actual childcare facilities on the island, and the island does not have running water or microwave ovens for heating food. The island's trails are not pram friendly.
The Väski info point is located at the Captain's Inn at the Pirate Harbour. Ask at the info point for any items you may have lost, or if you need first aid equipment. The staff will assist you in use of first aid materials if you so require.
The food sales points at Väski accept all the most common bank and credit cards. The island’s smallest kiosks only accept cash payment. The closest ATM is in the centre of Naantali.
Väski is an island in its natural state and for this reason is not accessible by wheelchair or other aids. We cannot recommend Väski Island for the disabled.
Pets are not permitted on Väski Island. However, if you are travelling with a dog or cat, you can take it to the Gomak pet hostel in Turku. Please remember to reserve a spot for your dog at the hostel in advance. More information and directions here.
